Alisa AGAFONOVA / Alper UCAR turned in a smooth dance, executing difficult lifts and a nice choregraphy. They picked up a level four for three lifts, the spin and the twizzle, while the two step sequences merited a level two. The Turkish duo scored 91,31 points which added up to 152,11 points overall. “We feel good after our performance. We did all our elements, which was important for the Grand Prix to come. We were a little bit worry about our skates beforehand. The didn’t feel comfortable and we sharpened them to prepare for France. Now they feel better again,” Alisa AGAFONOVA noted. “We tried not to worry today, but only to skate. We skate for us and for the audience and we enjoyed it. It was a good preparation for the Grand Prix,” Alper UCAR added.

Barbora SILNA / Juri KURAKIN produced a solid performance to “Lawrence of Arabia” as well, collecting level fours for five elements. The couple scored 83.84 points and accumulated 137.52 points overall to remain second. “In the beginning of the season we were not sure about the music, it didn’t fit to us. In the first competitions we didn’t feel confident with it and changed it a bit. That’s the reason why we still need to do some choreo to improve it. But we are very, very satisfied with the points, which is a qualification for the Junior World Championchips,” Barbora SILNA said. “I love this ice rink. It’s like home for me, because I practiced here in former times,” Juri KURAKIN explained.

Overall they had 136,57 points to take the bronze „We were very happy with how we skated today. Our free dance kept building and growing and this is just another step that we hoped to take continuing forward in the season. The last lift could have been better, but well work on it. We were able to take the audience with us during our performance, that was a great feeling. We really had fun on the ice,” Tim DIECK commented.

Yura MIN / Alexander GAMELIN (KOR) came in fourth (132,09 points) followed by Anastasiia KHROMOVA / Daryn ZHUNUSSOV (KAZ) (128,25 points).
